Our primary location for our classes is one of Downtown Miami’s most stunning historic landmarks – Miami Scottish Rite located in the Lummus Park Historic District in Downtown Miami. This historical landmark provides a sense of wonder to Miami’s history as the building was constructed from 1922-1924. This building and its auditorium are mentioned in the American Institute of Architects, AIA Florida Top 100 Buildings. The Scottish Rite Temple was the precursor of Art Deco in Miami.
Free Parking & Entry are available in the rear entry of the building.
The Auditorium
Miami Scottish Rite Auditorium
We are very fortunate to work with the Scottish Rite Foundation to host our classes in the historic Miami Scottish Rite auditorium, one of Miami’s prime Historical sites. In addition to utilizing the auditorium the facility itself provides a fantastic atmosphere that best resembles where staged choreography is performed – on stage! First order of business after you learn how to wield the saber is building the courage to do it on stage. Nothing can prepare you for a sport like practicing in the field where you play it. The stage is a must!
The theatre has been profiled by the South Florida Classical Review in the Miami Herald and has a seating capacity of 700, can host extensive theatrical productions and is equipped with all necessary equipment. For those who love fantasy and sci-fi fiction – this place will blow your mind!

Parking is free. The entrance is located on the west side, back of the building on North River Drive. The entrance is also located behind the building next to the parking area.
From I-95 coming South:
- Take exit 3B for NW 8th St toward Port of Miami/Orange Bowl
- Continue on NW 3rd Ct. Drive to NW 3rd St
- Turn right onto NW 3rd St
From I-95 going North:
- I-95 S exit toward Downtown
- follow signs for NW 8th St/Port of Miami
- Continue on NW 3rd Ct. Drive to NW 3rd St
